There was gridlock on a stretch of the Taconic State Parkway early Wednesday morning with separate southbound crashes, including one that blocked the left lane for about an hour.
A crash at Underhill Avenue in Yorktown in which the lane was blocked causes 20-30 minute delays back to near the Putnam County line until the lane reopened around 8 a.m.
Farther north, there was a second crash on the shoulder at Route 202/35 in Yorktown.
